It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Carric Sapp of Pikeville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. "Bobby" Jr. Sapp and Pearlie Sapp. He is survived by: his wife Katrina Tompkins Sapp; his children, Kelsey Rose Cansdale and Christopher Landon Sapp (Bailey Gray); his grandchildren, Ayden Cansdale and Sophia Gray; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Whittenburg, Anna Kay Tankersley (David), Deborah Blaylock (Tim), Ronda Martin (Scott) and Robert Sapp (Lynn). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
