She was predeceased by: her husbands, Benny Swafford Brown and David C. Goodland; her parents, Claud Summers and Effie Cagle Summers Farmer; her stepfather Sam Farmer; and her brothers, Kenneth Summers, Jimmy Summers, Eddie Summers, Jerry Summers and Ronny Summers.
She is survived by: her children, Benny Schawn Brown (Carol) of Pikeville, TN, Cynthia Brown Cowell (Larry) of Newnan, GA and Stephen A. Brown (Allison) of Franklin, TN; and her brother Bobby Summers. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
