She was predeceased by: her parents, Lecil Smith and Geneva Turner Smith. She is survived by: her husband Alfred Cooley; her son Darby Ray Cooley; her siblings, Sue Merriman (Billy Ray), Ronny Turner Smith and Charles Smith (Charlene); her aunts, Shirley Jackson (Millis) of Chattanooga, Verna Mae Smith of Soddy Daisy and Leona Roberts of Pikeville; her nephews, Lamar Merriman (Kristie), Stacy Merriman and Lanny Smith (Tracy); and her niece Heather Lee Smith. She is also survived by several cousins; and a host of friends.
