He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Daschke (Rumiko), Tom Daschke (Cindy), Laurie Martillaro, Lorna Lee (Jim) and Margaret Thurman (Steve); his close friend Melissa Smotherman Morris; his stepdaughters, Mary Ann Smith and Priscilla Cagle; his stepgranddaughters, Jacaqueline Campbell and Diamond Kinary; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Athena Kinary. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
