He is survived by: his children, Nicole Reed Smith of McMinnville, TN and Travis Rutledge (Tosha) of Pikeville; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Cynthia Rutledge; and his sisters, Shelia Sandell of Pikeville and Melissa Daniels (Shane Cunningham) of Whitwell. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
