With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn E Loyd of Pikeville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 10, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammie Loyd and Martha Pearson Loyd; his siblings, Ernest (Betty Jo), William (Betty), Carl, Beula, Owen Knight, Bernice Oakes (Raymond) and Ella Rose Miller (Ted); and his son-in-law Dennis Rigsby.
He is survived by: his wife Marion Loyd; his daughters, Ann Rigsby and Dr. Glenda Walley (Don); his grandchildren, Brandon Rigsby, Jeremy Walley (Lindsey), Justin Walley (Kallye) and Beth Martin (Chris); his great grandchildren, Hailey, Caroline, Addison, Nathan Walley and Savannah Martin; and his close friends, Mike and Brenda Moses. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; cousins; many friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Putnam-Reed Funeral Home (1171 Main St, Pikeville, TN 37367). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
