It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Watson (Pikeville, Tennessee), who passed away on December 3, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Watson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Kimberly Watson; his parents, Huey Watson and Mima Lee Watson; and his siblings, Haley Watson, Henry, Mitchell, Allen and Glenn Watson.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Fisher (Eddy) of Pikeville, TN, Anna Simmonds (Mark), Margie Eller (Tiny) of Pikeville, TN, Kenny Watson of Dayton, TN and Allen Watson (Gail) of Pikeville, TN; his grandchildren, Tim, Haley, Jason, Lauren, Wayland, Brittany, Braily, Kalie, Matthew, Allie and Bradley; and his siblings, John Watson of Pikeville, TN, Ila Smith of Pikeville, TN and Donnie Watson (Paula) of Pikeville, TN. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Putnam-Reed Funeral Home (1171 Main St, Pikeville, TN 37367). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
