He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ball and Marie L. McLaughlin Ball; and his sister Barbara "Barbie" Green. He is survived by: his wife Vickie A. Ball; his children, Stephanie Crawford (Billy) of Cleveland, TN, Jenny Hall (Shaun) of Cleveland, TN and Heath Ball of Nashville, TN; his stepchildren, Jennifer Holland of Pikeville, TN and Chris Holland (Jakie) of Dunlap, TN; his grandchildren, Preston Armstrong of Harrison, TN, Cameron Stephens of Cleveland, TN, Sam Kilgore of Cleveland, TN, Blaire Noe (Dylan), Karson Daggett, Mark Daggett of Dunlap, TN, Makayla, Austin Holland and Nya Ball of Springfield, OH; and his great grandchildren, Maddie and Millie Noe.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel (39299 TN-30, Pikeville, TN 37367). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
