He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Smith and Vina Smith; and his brothers, Haskell Leon Smith and Billy Bolen "Bo" Smith. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann "Cotton" Smith; his children, Donna Smith Hundley of Tennessee, Kerrie Smith Latshaw (David) of Spring City, TN, Scarlet Smith (James Ray) of Pikeville, TN, Michael Holliday (Sharon) of Pikeville, TN and Brian Smith (Jill) of Chattanooga, TN; and his grandchildren, Hunter Wallace (Brittany) of Chattanooga, TN, Brandon Holliday (Chloe) of Pikeville, TN and Brittany Holliday of Pikeville, TN. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Putnam-Reed Funeral Home (1171 Main St, Pikeville, TN 37367). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
