He is survived by: his friend Eld; his daughter Sharon Duke Edwards of Nashville; and his grandchildren, Rachel Edwards of Nashville and Scott Edwards (Shanna) of Dothan, Alabama..
The Duke family has requested memorials to the Middle Tennessee Boxer Rescue, an animal rescue organization.
