We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2022, at the age of 82, Billy Mitchell Gibson of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Gibson and Eva Bolden Gibson; and his children, Clifford Smither, Rodney Allen Bailey, Traci Gibson and Linda Ann Smither.

He is survived by: his wife Joann Scruggs Gibson; his sister Connie; and his grandchildren, Brandi Bailey, Mitchell, Kyle Bailey and Rodney Bailey, Jr.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
