She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Rebecca Brady; her parents, Ralph Townsend and Betty Townsend; and her brother Ralph Townsend, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Smith of Pikeville, TN; and her children, Bobbie Brady of Crossville, TN, Mae Hamill (Shane) of Pikeville, TN, Freddy Major of Kansas and Aree Smith of Pikeville, TN. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Putnam-Reed Funeral Home (1171 Main St, Pikeville, TN 37367).
