He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tompkins and Alice Tompkins; and his brothers, John Tompkins, Jr. and Robert Lynn Tompkins. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Tompkins of Pikeville, TN; and his siblings, Sherry Caputo (Chuck) of Pittsburg, PA, Alecia Matotek (Jack) of Pittsburg, PA and Fredrick Dean Tompkins of Butler, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
