It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Lavonne Smith of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, born in Troy, Michigan, who passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lange and Ella Lange (Milarch); and her husband Rev. Herman Lee Smith. She is survived by: her children, Rev. Darryl Smith (Cheryl) of Covington and Cindy Lee (Scott) of Maggie Valley; her grandchildren, Alec Smith (Sarah), Baylee Alley (Joshua) and Jonathan Lee; her great grandchildren, Juniper Smith and Hawthorn Smith; and her nieces, Charlene Steiner and Valentine Ripsom (George).
