She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Elbert and Dorothy Jewell Turner Tidwell; her former husband James Guy Ash, Jr.; her husband Joseph David Carpenter; her daughter Silvia Gaye Ash; and her siblings, Ruth Langston and Bobby Tidwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Robinson of Coldwater and Beverly Turnbow of Counce, Tennessee; her brother Malcom Tidwell of Amory, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Jimmie Turnbow (Brenda) and Aaron Owens (Dallas); and her great grandchildren, Rylee Turnbow and Emberlynn Tigner.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the White Sulphur Cemetery White Sulphur Cemetery.
