He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Fitzpatrick and Emma Miles Fitzpatrick; and his son Michael Longshore. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Metcalf Fitzpatrick; his sons, Richie Fitzpatrick of Nashville and Danny Longshore (Lynn) of Petersburg; and his sisters, Paula Miller of Portage, Betty Jo Hobbs of Brentwood and Pallie Lowry of Miami. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
