He is survived by: his children, Janice Bland (Jonathan), Dara Edwards (Tim) and Phillip Morris McCorkle, Jr. (Angel); and his sisters, Marcella Scott (Lynn), Emily Snoddy (Jake) and Christine Roland (Calvin). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
