She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Cozart and Annie Bell Rodgers Cozart; her children, Janice Compton and Edward Forrest Darnell, Jr.; her husband Edward Darnell; and her stepgreat-grandson Dane Pickle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Brashears of Lewisburg and Lorrie Harrison (Jim) of Petersburg; her grandchildren, Shadrick Brashears of Lewisburg and Matthew Brashears of Lewisburg; her stepgranddaughter Jill Pickle (Danny) of Lewisburg; her great grandchildren, Aven Brashears and Keats Brashears; and her stepgreat-granddaughter Taylor Pickle of Lewisburg.
