He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Crabtree and Ouida Scott Crabtree; and his siblings, Faye Crabtree, Edwina Davis, Howell Crabtree, Jr., Russell Crabtree, Hubert Crabtree and Earl Crabtree.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Crabtree of Petersburg; his children, Debbie Logan (Tommy) of Mulberry, Hugh Crabtree, Jr. (Gina) of Petersburg and Jeff Crabtree (Sonya) of Petersburg; his sisters, Liz Hale, Ann Hornaday and Martha Hemphill; his grandchildren, Rachel Sloan, Ethan Logan, Brandy Crabtree, Nathan Crabtree, Jason Crabtree and Amber Dough; his great grandchildren, Jeremiah Logan, Makayla Rigdon, Harper Crabtree, Lana Crabtree, Preston Harvick and Lyle Dough; and his great great grandchild Kinley Rigdon.
