She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leroy "Joe" Cashion and Selma J. Casteel Cashion; her husband Lacy Wilson Welch; and her brothers, Willie Boyd Cashion, Herbert Cashion, WJ Cashion and Vestle Cashion.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Marie Starks (Eric), Carol Grant, Lydia Ann Parks (Steve), Carl Wilson Welch (Nancy) and Daniel Kevin Welch; and her siblings, Jo Murriel Pigg, Louise Markham, Winnie Espy, Louis Cashion, Roy Cashion and Jerry Cashion. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Howell Church of Christ or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
