She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodie Aaron and Myrtle Robinson Cowan; her husband George Calvin Sharp; her children, Doris Mae Sharp and Bobby Ray Sharp; her grandson Thomas Sharp; her daughters-in-law, Sybil Sharp and Beth Sharp; her siblings, Ola B. White, Dolly Agnes Cowan, Virginia Williams, Roberta Travis, Devern Ward, Dean Carpenter and Arrie Cowan; and her brother-in-law Billy Sharp.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Maddox (Sherman 'Sam') of Lewisburg, TN and Jimmy Sharp of Petersburg, TN; and her grandchildren, Revel Sharp, Sunnie Frattarelli, Justin Sharp, Kristen Fano, Chad Maddox and Hayley Maddox. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
