He was predeceased by: his wife Neva June Alexander; his parent Mary Ann Alexander Bell; and his stepfather Roy Bell. He is survived by: his children, Johnny Taylor Alexander, Jr., Anthony Wayne Alexander and Laura Ann Sims (Jeff); his sister Sue Worley (Phil); his grandsons, Johnny Taylor Alexander, III, Zachary Drake Alexander, Whitney Hope Alexander, Geary Dayne Meeks (Maria) and Harley Skylyn Turner (Nick); and his niece Wanda Morris. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
