He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Clay and Georgia Lee Myers Clay; and his daughters, Susan Elizabeth Bergin and Jennifer Margaret Burnett. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Faye Hoback Clay; his children, Frank Charles Clay, Tommy Hughes (Allecia), Bethany Lee Geary, Roxanne Gipson and Tiffany Allen (Shawn); and his siblings, George Myers Clay (Edwene), Drucilla Medley (Clifton), Linda Jo Johnson and Peggy Darden (Glenn). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
