He was predeceased by: his parents, Coy Lawson of Washington and Minnie Davis Lawson; his sister Peggy Vass; and his son-in-law Jeffery Burnette. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Lawson; his children, Steve Lawson (Sue), Carrie Burnette and Marie Lawson; his grandchildren, Kaila and Cameron Elsea; his brother-in-law Michael Beetch; and his adoptive daughter Madison Lawson.
