He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Cauthen (Brad) and Lindsay Spence-Crandall (Brian); his grandchildren, Connor Cauthen, Mackenzie Cauthen, Skylar Spence and Logan Cauthen; his siblings, James "Buddy" Spence, William "Anthony" Spence and Nola "Sissy" Spence; and his sisters-in-law, Debbie Cowart (Gerald) and Betty Sue Sharpe (Bruce).
