He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam N Johnston and Kathleen Johnston; his stepmother Mary Jane Johnston; his daughter Jennifer Sharp; and his sisters, Lynda Harris and Bay Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Johnston; his children, Gina Payne (Philip), Matt Johnston (Jade) and Luke Johnston (Piper); his son-in-law David Sharp; and his grandchildren, Robby, Caitlin, Daniel, Logan, Addie, Sam, Austin, Brody, Ty, Claire, Madison, Savanah, Emma, Luke and Miles.
