He was predeceased by: his parents, Bealuah Gulledge and Zegal Gulledge; his daughter Janet Gayle Miller; and his siblings, Kenton Gulledge and Dorothy Gulledge.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Gulledge of Parsons, TN; his son Robert Michael Owen Jr.; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth, Melissa and Stephine.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to the Cedar Hill Cemetery Fund.
