He was predeceased by: his parents, Leathy Elvington and Troy Elvington; and his siblings, Jim Elvington, Junior Elvington, Tom Elvington and Brenda Mooney.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Elvington of Bath Springs, TN; his children, Little Ray Elvington (Brook) of Bath Springs, TN, Raymond Elvington of Jackson, TN, Peggy Coker of Decaturville, TN, Latonia Holifield (John) of Tiptonville, TN and Rebecca Tubbs of Parsons, TN; and his sisters, Pearl Elvington of Sardis, TN and Linda Bailey of Reagan, TN. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Parsons Mortuary Chapel (134 W 2nd St, Parsons, TN 38363). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery.
