He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Haas and Betty Jo Hart Haas; and his brothers, Charles J. Haas and Donald R. Haas. He is survived by: his former wife Susanna Haas; his wife Susan L. Fracaro Haas of Tennessee; the mother of his children Susanna Haas Medack (Cotton) of Loebau; his children, Joseph Haas III (Andrea) of Tennessee, William Roy Haas of Dime Box, Feleasha Sherfy (Daniel) of Virginia and Rebecca Batiste (Gerald) of Dime Box; and his siblings, Dana Watson (Gary) of Oregon, Debbie Marquardt (Richie) of Tennessee and Robert Haas (Sharon) of Illinois. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
