He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil D. Mathis and Minnie Miller Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Mathis of Parsons, TN; his daughters, Michelle Mathis of Nashville, TN and Janet Demorest of Nashiville, TN; his siblings, Colin Mathis of Holladay, TN, Lula Redden and Sarah Mcalister; and his grandchildren, Ryan Demorest and Lauren Demorest.
