James Wesley Ayers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 81, James Wesley Ayers (Parsons, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul Ayers and Wilma Jennings Durham Ayers; his son Paul Eugene Ayers; and his half-brother Willam Ralph "Bill" Durham. He is survived by: his wife Janet Snodgrass Ayers; his son J. Jonathan "Jon"; his daughter-in-law Kristy Ayers; his stepdaughter Katie Givens Bryant; his grandchildren, Jay Ayers, Eloise and Elodie Bryant; his sister JoAnn; his brother-in-law Mike Lynn; and his cousins, Jay McPherson and Jessie Ruth Tiller. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, One Symphony Place.
