She was predeceased by: her husband C. Ray Byrd; her parents, Girtha Gilbert and Clayborne Gilbert; and her siblings, Orbie Gilbert, Dorothy Wilkins and Lavell Rains.
She is survived by: her siblings, Patsy Jackson of Holladay, TN, Delbert Gilbert of Knoxville, TN and W. C. "Pat" Gilbert Jr. of Vancouver, WA.. She is also survived by Several Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the New Prospect Cemetery Fund.
