He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Burleson and Bertha Fewell Burleson; his wife Joy Burleson; his daughter Karen Brasher; his son-in-law Micheal Brasher; his great grandchild Benjamin Watson; and his siblings, Buddy Burleson, Bobby Burleson, Dorothy Best, Runell Bryant and Annette Seymour.
He is survived by: his children, Vicky Carrington of Lexington and Mickey Burleson of Holladay, TN; and his sister JoAnne Smith. He is also survived by Six Grandchildren.
