He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Trish" Thornton; his son Robert Thornton (Tonya); his grandchildren, Ashton Thornton, Rylan Thornton and Maeghan Thornton; his siblings, Terri Whitt (Gary) and Randy Thornton (Jana); and his mother-in-law Rebecca Cureton (Gary James). He is also survived by his family, friends.
