He was predeceased by: his wife Mona Schaffner; his parents, Roger Richard Schaffner, Sr. and Margaret Marie Davis Schaffner; and his siblings, GiGi Schaffner and Mitch Schaffner.
He is survived by: his children, Tracy Knouse (Doug), Roger Schaffner (Megan), Katie Schaffner (Jesse), Shawn Schaffner (Kayde) and Joni Daniel (Dewayne); his siblings, Mike Schaffner and Marie Ramey (Charles); his grandchildren, Emily Parker, Andrew Tillis, Ryan Schaffner, Mia Daniel, Kaley Briggs and Stephen Daniel; and his friend Mark Evans. He is also survived by other family and friends, The family will receive friends.
