He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie Gail Sane; his parents, Herman Sane and Edith Sane; his siblings, Louise, Reva, Rhonda, Walter and Daniel; his mother-in-law Helen Sane; his nephew Jerry Smith; and his aunt Rachel Reynolds.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Sane, Alma James (Jeff) of Newport, Rusty Sane of Parrottsville and Charles "C. J." Sane (Melita) of Sneedville; his grandchildren, Aaron Sane, Malaya "Squirt" James, Michael, Sharon, Derrick, Brittany James, Nevach Turner, Bradley, Shante', Dekota, Callie and Chase Sane; his siblings, Jimmy Sane of Parrottsville, Eva Joyce Smith of Parrottsville, Zula Sane of Parrottsville, Linda Gail Sane of Parrottsville and Rachel Ann Sane of Parrottsville; his siblings-in-law, Ottis Sane of Parrottsville and Shelia Nortonof Parrottsville; and also Mac Sane.
