We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2025, Joseph R. Johnson of Parrottsville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Johnson and Myrtle Johnson; and his siblings, Wanda Sue Johnson, Opal Legg, Gona Berry, Carroll Johnson and Murphy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson; his children, Edward Johnson (Linda) of Parrottsville and Carrie Webb (Brad) of Parrottsville; his granddaughters, Amanda Henderson (Tim) of Cosby and Angelia Ferguson (Ryan) of Jefferson City; his nephews, Kevin, Phillip and Brian; his close friend Henry Payne; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2642 US-25W #70, Dandridge, TN 37725).
