He is survived by: his daughter Gail Smelcer (Mike); his grandson Wesley Smelcer (Savannah); his great grandchildren, CrystaLynne, Hank and Cheyenne Smelcer; his sister Elizabeth Williams; and his sisters-in-law, Eloise and Judy Wiley.
