He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jo LaFollette; his parents, Herbert LaFollette and Ada LaFollette; his siblings, Lynn, Edgar, Herbert, Jr. and Louise Waddell; and his son-in-law Harold Kesterson.
He is survived by: his children, Wendell LaFollette (Wilma), Sandra Kesterson and Shirley Sane (Ronnie); and his grandchildren, Brad Sane (Judy), Jason Kesterson (Kristi), Julie Sane (Justin) and Christy Haynes (Joe). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
