He is survived by: his wife Betty Brooks; his children, Lisa Barnett Parrottsville (Mike) and Dr. Michael Brooks (Elisabeth); his grandchildren, Evan Barnett of Parrottsville, TN, Sloan and Peyton Brooks; his siblings, Lavonda Trentham (Denver) of Parrottsville, TN, Fredericka Spann, Ella Mae Greene and Charles (Mary); his siblings-in-law, Faye Brooks of Del Rio, TN, Kenny and Janella Trentham; his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Brooks (Tammy), Dennis Trentham (Sherrie), Eric Spann (Lorie), Scott Gregg, Tony Brooks, Clinton Brooks, Missy Wines, Kelly Spann and Sherry Wright; and his close friend Andy Brown.
