She is survived by: her husband Larry LaPatka; her children, Donna Thompson (Christine Owens) and Gene Thompson, Jr. (Dale); her grandchildren, Tanya McManus (Kinkaid), Gene Thompson III (Amy), Shawn Thompson (Jill), Jimmy Thompson Jr., Heather Thompson (Cherzan), Justin Thompson and Alexandrea Thompson; and her great grandchildren, Carson McManus, Parker McManus, Kaleb Thompson, Riley Thompson, Drake Thompson, Kinleigh Thompson, Kingston Thompson and Korynne Thompson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
