He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Hill and Rosa Jane Brown Hill; and his siblings, Kathryn Browning, Opal Brock, Garnett McFarland, Flossie McKee and Nathan Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Colley Hill; his children, Debbie Green (Don) of Puryear, Jeanette Triplett (Barry) of Puryear, Jeff Hill (Jill) of Puryear, Joey Collins (Traci) of Puryear and Darrell Collins (Ann) of Springville; and his sister Carnell Browning of Paris. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
