She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Lloyd "Jerry" Gebert; and her parents, Treamon Cooper and Clara Paschall Cooper. She is survived by: her children, Barry Carter (Kelly) of Youngstown, FL, Bryan Carter (Amanda) of Paris, TN, Sandy Dowdy (Jeff) of Collierville, TN, Jeff Gebert (Eileen) of College Grove, TN and Scott Gebert (Karen); her brother Tommy Cooper (Ronda) of Paris; her grandchildren, Tyler Carter (Hannah Prince), Tanner Carter (Kathryn Noles), Stan Carter (Hong), Kristi Gibson (Ben), Vivien Carter, Lilien Carter, Jilien Carter, Zane Carter, Willa Carter, Graham Dowdy, Christopher Gebert and Nicole Dowdy; and her great grandchildren, Rowen Gibson, Israel Gibson, Leona Gibson, Lewis Carter and Carter Gibson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (114 Memorial Dr, Paris, TN 38242).
