With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Retia Lane Hill of Paris, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Retia Lane leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Retia Lane may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mitchell Riley Rhodes and Jewell Markham Rhodes; her siblings, Fountain Rhodes (Adeline), Imogene Holland (Bobby) and William Ray Rhodes; and her husband Elroy Hill.
She is survived by: her daughter Pam Bigham; her grandson Andrew Bigham (Angela); and her great grandchild Amelia Bigham. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews, and six great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the McEvoy Funeral Home, Inc. (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
