With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ray Rushing of Paris, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ray left this world on February 2, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Glendel Rushing and Flora Jane Hale Rushing; his daughter Kimberly Raye Rushing; and his siblings, Pauline Rushing, Clyde Rushing, Larry Rushing and Richard Rushing.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Rushing (Tracey) of LaVergne, TN and John Rushing of Paris, TN; his sisters, Barbara Decker (Vernon) of Paris, TN, Jane French of Paris, TN, Jean Sellers (Robert) of McKenzie, TN, Safronia Rufsholm of Camden, TN, Carolyn Sego of Spring Creek, TN and Shirley Johnson of Camden, TN; and his grandsons, Dawson Rushing and Connor Smith.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
