He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Copeland and Eulalie Urton Copeland; his former wife Martha Jane Hayes Copeland; his siblings, Florence Langdon, Frances Belcher, Doris Blackmon, Phyllis Shinabery, Lois Anna Copeland, John Copeland, Jr. and Donald Copeland; and also Sally Johnson Parsons Copeland.
He is survived by: his children, Sue Ward (Terry) of Paris, Carol Hawkins (Charles) of Bells, TN, Mark Copeland (Pam) of Paris and David Copeland (Tammy) of Paris. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and thirty-nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
