With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lela Wade Asay of Paris, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Oliver and Veronica Wade (Berry); her former husband Thomas Asay; and her sister Maryrose Wampler. She is survived by: her husband Billy Evans; her children, John Asay and Robin Hunt; her stepson Jon Evans; her brother Donald Wade; and her grandchildren, Ada Rose Burris, Ella Mae Burris, Andrew Evans and Alissa Evans.
