He is survived by: his children, Deidre Marrs of Paris and Derrick Melton (Emily) of Paris; his grandchildren, Taylor Charnock, Jessica Marrs, Ashley Melton, Lily Melton, Devin Boarland and Alexandra Rowe; his great grandchild Haizley Bolden; and his siblings, Cathy Chapman (Lee) of McKenzie, Billy Melton of Paris, Jerry Melton (Dinah) of Puryear and Ricky Melton (Janice) of Springville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a great great nephew.
