He was predeceased by: his parents, Darrell Pat Thompson and Grace Ann Priddy Pack; his sister Patricia Ann Thompson; his stepfather Steve Pack; and his fiancée Susan Buckner.
He is survived by: his children, Megan Nance (Dustin) of Paris and Colton Wayne Thompson of Paris; his siblings, Lisa Choate (Michael) of Henry, Jeff Thompson (Robin) of McKenzie and Daniel Pack (Melissa) of Paris; and his grandchildren, Rylee, Kylee, Delila and Murphy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
