He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. Lindsey and Lorene Lankford Lindsey; his wife Lena Jane Carter Lindsey; and his brothers, Douglas Lindsey, Hunter Lindsey and Bobby Lindsey.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Hurt (Troy) of Hermitage, TN, Sandy Savage (Tracy) of Springville, TN, Steve Lindsey (Lindy) of Germanton, NC, Ronnie Lindsey (Kim) of Paris, TN and Dale Lindsey (Anjanette) of Nashville, TN; and his brothers, Carlton Lindsey (Bert) of Brainard, MN, Donnie Lindsey of Paris, TN and Lee Lindsey (Jenny) of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ridgeway Funeral Home (201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN 38242). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
